Privacy Policy

The Short Version

CarrySizer does not collect personal data. No account is required, no email is requested, and nothing you type into our tools is stored on our servers. We use a single analytics provider (Vercel Analytics) that reports aggregated traffic figures only — it does not identify individual visitors.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, device fingerprint, or any other personally identifying information. Bag dimensions and weight you enter into our tools are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to our servers. Route and airline selections work the same way — they are local to your session and discarded when you close the tab.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. Vercel Analytics is a privacy-first service: it reports aggregated page view counts, referrer domains, and general geographic regions (country level). It does not use cookies, does not track individual users across sessions, and does not build user profiles. The data we receive is statistical in nature — for example, “500 people visited the Ryanair page this week from the United Kingdom” — not anything tied to an individual.

Cookies

CarrySizer does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any persistent cookies that identify you across sessions. We may use session-scoped browser storage (not cookies) to preserve your tool inputs if you navigate between pages — this data exists only in your own browser and is cleared when you close the tab or clear your browser data.

We do not display a cookie consent banner because we do not set any cookies that require consent under GDPR or similar laws.

Third-Party Services

The site is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel may temporarily log your IP address as part of standard web server operations; these logs are retained briefly for security purposes and are not available to us. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising networks, or any other third-party tracking services.

Some pages include affiliate links to external retailers (see our Affiliate Disclosure). When you follow one of those links, the destination site's own privacy policy applies.

Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Because CarrySizer does not collect personal data, most of your data rights — access, rectification, erasure, portability — do not apply in practice: there is simply no personal data associated with your use of the site to access, correct, or delete.

If you believe we hold personal data relating to you (for example, if you contacted us by email), you have the right to request access to or deletion of that information. Requests from EU/EEA residents are handled under GDPR Article 15–17. Requests from California residents are handled under CCPA/CPRA. We will respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

CarrySizer is a general travel information tool with no age restriction. Because we collect no personal data, we have no mechanism to determine the age of visitors and no special data handling for minors.

Changes to This Policy

If our data practices change materially, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
