Air Canada liquids policy

For Canadian CATSA screening, ordinary liquids/gels use containers no larger than 100 ml/100 g in one clear resealable 1-litre bag. Medical and infant-feeding exceptions have separate screening conditions. Check departure and transfer rules outside Canada.

Family & Infants

Infant (under 2)

Lap infant: ticket required; no fare within Canada, taxes only between Canada and the US, and 10% of adult fare internationally, excluding taxes/fees/surcharges from the discount. One extra standard article for the lap infant’s belongings is allowed.

Stroller

One stroller per accompanying child travels in addition to baggage allowance. Small collapsed strollers up to 25.5 cm diameter and 92 cm length can be checked free at counter or gate; counter check returns in the final baggage hall, gate check at the aircraft door. Large/heavy strollers require counter check and remain subject to space.

Car seat

An accompanying infant/child up to age 11 may check a car seat or booster free, with no other belongings packed in it. Cabin use requires an approved restraint and a purchased seat; aircraft/cabin restrictions apply, especially Signature Class. A booster without its internal harness is not approved for onboard use.
