Royal Air Maroc carry-on: 10 kg Economy, 12 kg Business

Royal Air Maroc publishes one main cabin bag plus one personal item. Business changes the main bag's weight limit; it does not add a second cabin bag. Check the operating airline on every connection before using these limits.

The personal item normally goes under the seat in front. In an emergency-exit row, follow the instruction to put it in the overhead bin. Its 2 kg limit is separate: do not add it to the main bag's weight limit.

Measure the bag you will actually take

Measure the packed exterior, including anything that sticks out. The current page gives the dimensions without an explicit wheels-and-handles clause, so allow for the complete shape rather than relying on the empty bag's label. Each side matters; there is no general 115 cm sum rule in the current cabin table.

A 55×40×25 cm bag at 10 kg reaches the Economy limit. At 11 kg it exceeds Economy's weight allowance but remains below Business's 12 kg weight limit. Selecting Business does not make two main bags permissible.

Airport checks, fees and liquids

The airline says it checks cabin bags at check-in and boarding. A compliant bag can be sent to the hold if cabin space is limited; keep the receipt and follow staff instructions about items that must stay with you. No measured airport leniency or guaranteed overhead space is claimed here.

Excess-baggage charges depend on the route and the type of excess. An unavailable estimate in the fee tool does not mean zero cost. Confirm the charge for your booking before bringing an extra or oversized piece.

The published liquid guidance uses containers up to 100 ml in one transparent resealable one-litre bag. Check departure and connection security rules, plus separate battery or special-item conditions.

Travelling with children

A stroller is free in the hold for a child; compact umbrella strollers up to 15×30×100 cm may travel in the cabin if space is available. Aircraft-door return is not guaranteed by the reviewed guidance. Confirm a car seat's acceptance and use separately.

The infant page quotes a lap fare of 10% of the accompanying adult fare unless ticket conditions differ. The special-baggage page lists a separate 10 kg infant allowance and a folding stroller or carrycot, but does not label those 10 kg as cabin baggage. Confirm how it applies to your infant's ticket.

Compare connecting flights and recheck the ticket before departure. Partner-airline or loyalty benefits require their own eligibility check.
