Volotea Carry-On: Standard, Priority and Combined Weight

Standard includes one 40×30×20 cm bag under the seat. Priority adds one 55×40×25 cm cabin bag. The two pieces have a 10 kg combined limit, not 10 kg each.

Membership and cabin space

Megavolotea includes a cabin bag subject to available space; Megavolotea Plus also includes Priority. Check the benefit in your booking. If a member’s bag cannot fit in the overhead compartments, Volotea says it can be carried in the hold free and collected from the baggage carousel.

Measure the complete packed bag. The current published depth is 25 cm; older 20 cm guidance is not the current consumer allowance. Capacity in litres or a product name does not prove a bag fits. The checker evaluates one piece, so weigh both together yourself.

Charges and noncompliance

The baggage page quotes €65 per passenger and flight for a cabin bag without the required entitlement, and €65 per item and flight for exceeding the combined weight. Payment does not guarantee overhead storage.

Before travel

Confirm Standard versus Priority/membership, measure the small and large bags separately, and check total weight. Volotea publishes 100 ml liquid containers; airport procedures and exceptions must also be checked. Keep valuables and items required to stay in the cabin accessible if a bag goes to the hold.
