Check cabin bag dimensions, weight and personal-item limits separately. A bag has to pass every published limit at once; being under the length and width limit does not help if the depth, weight, or fare-specific allowance is tighter.

ITA Airways liquids policy

Ordinary liquids: containers up to 100 ml in one transparent resealable 1-litre bag, with screening exceptions for necessary medicines, dietary items and baby food. Sealed duty-free purchases require the applicable security bag and receipt. Check current departure and transfer airport instructions.

Family & Infants

Infant (under 2)

For lap infants, the family-page introduction allows a small bag but the Light table says no baggage. Non-Light infant checked-baggage figures also vary between the introduction and route table. Confirm the booked infant entitlement; do not treat checked baggage as an extra cabin bag.

Stroller

A folding stroller is carried free for children up to 11 years on all routes/classes, subject to check-in and safety procedures. Gate return on arrival/transit in Italy must be requested at check-in; do not assume universal aircraft-door return.

Car seat

A car seat for a lap infant travels in the hold. To use a car seat in the cabin, reserve the child a seat and notify ITA in advance.

Children's allowance

The family table gives a child or infant with their own seat one 8 kg cabin bag, including Light. Its older stroller-backpack dimensions conflict with the current cabin page: use the current 40×30×15 cm personal-item limit unless ITA confirms an exception.
