Baggage fees

No reliable fixed price is listed here. Check your booking for the cost of adding a bag; an unlisted price does not mean it is free.

Official baggage policy
How to use this policy

Check cabin bag dimensions, weight and personal-item limits separately. A bag has to pass every published limit at once; being under the length and width limit does not help if the depth, weight, or fare-specific allowance is tighter.

Editorial signal only. Airport behavior varies; the published allowance still governs.

United Airlines liquids policy

For ordinary liquids at US security: containers up to 3.4 fl oz (100 ml) in one quart-size clear, sealable bag. Check TSA rules for medical and infant exceptions.

Family & Infants

Infant (under 2)

Under two: US domestic lap travel is free, without a checked-bag allowance in the infant's name. International infant tickets and partial fares/taxes depend on the destination; 10% is not a universal fare.

Stroller

One stroller or folding wagon per child may be checked free. Large/non-collapsible strollers and non-folding wagons must be checked at the ticket counter.

Car seat

One car seat per child may be checked free at the counter or gate. In-cabin use requires an approved restraint and a suitable seat; exit rows and Polaris on Boeing 767/777/787 are excluded.
