Aegean’s allowance depends on fare and aircraft. The main bag is up to 8 kg in Economy or 13 kg in Business / Business Basic. Light includes one item total: a main bag or a personal item. Flex, Family, ComfortFlex and Business include both.

Fare and aircraft table

The main-bag box is 56 × 45 × 25 cm on Airbus and 55 × 40 × 23 cm on turboprops. A bag that fits the larger box does not automatically qualify on a connecting Olympic Air turboprop. Check the operating aircraft and carrier for each segment.

A personal item must fit under the seat; the reviewed source does not give it a numeric size or weight. The old 40 × 30 × 20 cm figure is not an established Aegean limit. Measure the packed exterior conservatively, including protrusions; the page does not explicitly define wheels and handles.

Check your bag and fare

You cannot buy an extra cabin bag separately under the published FAQ. A generic priority option does not create a second main bag or higher weight limit. Business’s two total pieces are one main bag and one personal item.

Gate handling and prices

A compliant Light bag may be checked free at boarding when cabin storage is full, with collection at the arrival baggage belt. Remove valuables and power banks before handing it over. Oversized or overweight baggage is a different case: it is checked and fees may apply. Get a quote for your booking; there is no universal EUR 40/70 charge or proven airport weighing frequency here.

Travelling with children

Infants aged 0–2 may bring one personal item or cabin bag up to 55 × 40 × 23 cm and 6 kg. Children use the adult allowance for their fare. A collapsible stroller is included for infants and also for children above two when needed. Handover and return depend on aircraft capacity and airport facilities.

An infant in their own seat needs a parent-provided car seat with a base up to 40 × 40 cm, declared at booking through Aegean or the agent. Confirm approval and installation; transport permission does not guarantee that any seat model is suitable. Inflatable child comfort devices are not allowed.

Liquids and power banks

Aegean publishes the 100 ml container / one-litre resealable bag guidance for ordinary cabin liquids. Check medical exceptions and transfer security separately. Personal power banks must remain switched off and securely stowed in cabin baggage: using or charging them during flight is prohibited.
