Economy permits one 55×35×25 cm bag up to 7 kg, except Rodrigues: one bag up to 5 kg. Business permits two main bags up to 7 kg each, 14 kg combined. Each bag must also have a three-side sum no greater than 115 cm. The metric dimension graphic includes the full bag outline.
Allowance and limits
Listed additional articles include a laptop, camera, umbrella, baby carrying basket/food and reasonable duty-free purchases. The page does not establish a numeric box or weight for an unrestricted ordinary handbag/backpack. Airports may impose further limits; partner-operated flights use that operator’s policy.
Children aged 2 to under 12 have adult allowance. Infants have an extra checked bag up to 23 kg, Rodrigues 5 kg; do not call this a cabin allowance. Cots/prams/buggies can reach the gate before hold carriage, without a confirmed arrival-door return. Approved child restraint needs a booked seat and prior notice; excluded on Rodrigues, Reunion and Business.
Liquids use containers up to 100 ml within one clear resealable 1 L bag, with declared infant/medical/dietary exceptions. One power bank up to 100 Wh is allowed: cabin only, no overhead storage, onboard use or charging. Do not rely on the old generic 100–160 Wh permission.
