Scoot: 10 kg Economy or 15 kg ScootPlus, combined

Scoot allows one main cabin bag and one personal item. The weight allowance is shared by both items; it is not a separate allowance for each bag.

How to measure and weigh

The main bag must fit 54×38×23 cm and total no more than 115 cm. The personal item must fit 40×30×10 cm under the seat. Measure the packed exterior, including protrusions, conservatively; the reviewed rule does not separately define wheels and handles.

An 8 kg main bag and 3 kg personal item total 11 kg: too heavy for Economy. Moving objects between them does not change that total. A 55×40×23 cm bag is oversized even if light. The single-bag checker does not add the weight of a second bag; verify the combined limit yourself.

Fares and excess baggage

Basic, Value and Flex include 10 kg combined cabin baggage; ScootPlus includes 15 kg. For ScootPlus, the linked checker selects Premium Economy. Current checked allowances are: Basic none, Value/Flex 20 kg, ScootPlus 30 kg. A checked allowance does not enlarge cabin limits. Prices depend on the route and excess; unknown calculator prices do not mean free carriage.

Infants and special items

Infants have no separate cabin allowance. A suitable compact folded stroller can travel outside the ordinary allowance with an infant or child, subject to dimensions, protective packing and available storage. Otherwise it is checked outside the hold allowance. Confirm airport handover, return and approved child-seat arrangements.

Scoot’s liquid guidance uses containers up to 100 ml in one transparent resealable 1-litre bag, with medication, infant-food and special-diet exceptions. Check departure and transit screening rules. Power banks have separate restrictions; bag fit is not item approval.
