Cabin allowance

For Business departures from the United States, only one cabin bag and the personal item pass through security. Check the second cabin bag free at the counter. The two-bag allowance does not permit one 16 kg suitcase.

Measure and weigh each packed bag separately. Include protruding handles, wheels and pockets in your measurement. An 8 kg main bag and a 4 kg personal item have separate caps; moving everything into one 12 kg suitcase does not meet the rule.

Fees, fares and connections

The Economy cabin allowance includes the main bag and personal item; checked baggage depends on the route and fare. Star Alliance Gold does not add cabin baggage. Oversize, overweight or untagged excess baggage can require payment and carriage in the hold. A compliant bag may also be taken at check-in for free hold carriage when cabin space requires. No universal fixed gate fee or measured airport tolerance is established.

For a partner-operated segment, check that operating airline’s cabin policy. At a connection, follow airport security instructions; a baggage fit result does not certify liquids or transfer arrangements.

Infants and strollers

An infant receives one cabin bag up to 8 kg. Checked infant baggage is normally 10 kg under the weight system or one 23 kg piece under the piece system, with an exception for EcoFly routes that include no free checked baggage. International infant fares vary by route and date. Stroller carriage has no surcharge under the infant policy, but cabin acceptance needs a 55×40×23 cm / 8 kg stroller in a pouch with a cabin tag. Airport exceptions mean return at the aircraft door is not guaranteed. Cabin use of an infant seat requires the specific device and booking conditions.

The cabin policy specifies liquid containers up to 100 ml in one transparent resealable 1 L bag. Review the published medicine and infant-food exceptions and the security rules of departure and transit airports.
