Oman Air Carry-On Rules & Bag Size Guide 2026

Oman Air’s current table gives one main bag up to 7 kg in Economy, including Saver, and two main bags up to 7 kg each in Business and Business Studio. A combined 14 kg does not allow a single 10 kg bag.

Size: add three measurements

The published cabin size rule is length + width + depth ≤ 115 cm. Measure the packed exterior conservatively, including protrusions. The reviewed page does not establish separate 55 × 40 × 20 cm side limits or explicitly define wheels and handles.

For example, 60 + 35 + 20 = 115 cm meets the published numerical total. That calculation does not guarantee safe stowage on your aircraft. Ask the airline about unusually shaped bags.

Personal items and family travel

Baggage FAQ Q18 lists additional personal articles, including a handbag and laptop in a small bag. No separate numeric personal-item dimensions or weight are established. Do not turn that unknown into another unrestricted suitcase.

The allowance page mentions 10 kg extra baggage for travellers with infants except Economy Saver. It does not establish an additional 7 kg infant cabin bag. Confirm the ticket, baggage category and child equipment with Oman Air. Strollers/carrycots appear in the additional-items FAQ; aircraft-door return and universal car-seat approval are not established.

Excess and restricted contents

There is no verified universal prepaid/gate price here, and missing prices do not mean free excess. The review does not measure how often Muscat staff weigh bags. Check the booking before travelling over the allowance.

Do not put power banks or spare lithium batteries in checked baggage, including a bag handed over at the gate. FAA safety guidance requires cabin carriage and protected terminals; Oman Air may impose stricter limits. Consult its dangerous-goods policy for the particular device rather than assuming a larger battery can go in the hold. Check departure and transfer liquid screening separately.

EgyptAir’s separately reviewed standard cabin width is 40 cm, not 38 cm; it does not establish Oman Air’s size rule.
