Measure the full external bag size, including wheels and handles.

Baggage fees

No reliable fixed price is listed here. Check your booking for the cost of adding a bag; an unlisted price does not mean it is free.

Official baggage policy
How to use this policy

Check cabin bag dimensions, weight and personal-item limits separately. A bag has to pass every published limit at once; being under the length and width limit does not help if the depth, weight, or fare-specific allowance is tighter.

Editorial signal only. Measure the packed bag and verify the operating carrier's rule.

Copa Airlines liquids policy

Ordinary liquids, gels and aerosols: containers up to 100 ml in a transparent resealable bag no larger than 1 litre. Larger medically necessary liquids and breast milk must be declared to screening staff. Follow departure and transfer airport instructions; a partly filled larger container does not comply.

Family & Infants

Infant (under 2)

For infants 0–23 months, one eligible infant item in addition to the responsible adult’s cabin allowance: approved seat with a purchased infant seat, small folding stroller, or diaper bag. Current carry-on page requires the diaper bag to meet personal-item dimensions; an infant-baggage page says carry-on dimensions, so confirm if larger than 43×25×22 cm. Ticket pricing is not a universal 10% rule.

Stroller

Small folding stroller no longer than 110 cm under the infant-item conditions. Larger strollers must be checked at the counter. For children 2+, a stroller that meets cabin dimensions replaces their cabin bag. No unconditional free gate-check or aircraft-door return is promised.

Car seat

Cabin infant seat requires a purchased seat and equipment approved for cars and aircraft. It counts within the eligible infant-item choice. Checked infant equipment can incur applicable excess/weight/size charges; confirm booking entitlement.

Uses current published centimetres; the page also displays rounded inch values. The 2025 agency bulletin mentions a connecting Star Alliance Gold exception, while the current passenger page says one bag for all, including Gold: confirm a specific exception rather than granting two by default. Current carry-on and infant-baggage pages differ on diaper-bag dimensions; use the smaller personal-item scope pending confirmation. Main and personal items must fit their storage areas. Checked-bag fees are separate from cabin inclusion and depend on fare, route, dates and status; no universal USD 30/50 quote is modeled.
