Avianca liquids policy

Avianca states a 100 ml container limit for ordinary cabin liquids. Departure and transfer security rules apply separately; do not equate the US one-quart rule with a universal one-litre rule.

Family & Infants

Infant (under 2)

One additional infant personal item is included; the infant page specifies a diaper bag up to 46×36×20 cm under the seat. This differs from the adult personal-item limit. Do not assume a free 10 kg checked bag on a new ticket: that entitlement applies to eligible Classic/Flex/Business tickets purchased before 19 December 2025.

Stroller

One stroller or folding wagon free per child under 12. Up to 115 cm total and 10 kg may travel in cabin subject to space; larger items go in the hold. A second stroller or a stroller for a child aged 12+ may incur charges.

Car seat

For infants under 2, an approved seat up to 68×35×43 cm may travel without a baggage charge. Cabin use requires a purchased child seat and approved restraint; larger items may incur checked-baggage charges. US routes including connections have a separate free-car-seat rule up to age 18; cabin approval and dimensions still apply.

Children's allowance

Children aged 2–11 receive the allowance of the booked fare.
